It took a big effort from defending Olympic Champion and double World Record holder, Usain Bolt, to top a 100-metre field in Kingston, Jamaica tonight.
Bolt, running with a 1.0 m/s wind in his back, stopped the clock at a very fast 9.88 seconds, to finish well ahead of Jamaican teammate Nickel Ashmeade, 9.94.
Ashmeade went to the line in a blanket finish with Yohan Blake and Asafa Powell, who all
ended with the same clocking.
Blake was third, while Powell was fourth.
Kemar Bailey-Cole was a few steps behind in 10-flat, just ahead of South Africa's Akani Simbine, 10.01 seconds.
Ramon Gittens of Barbados was seventh in 10.03, while Michael Frater finished last in 10.04.
