Finland, Canada and Slovakia lead the way in Group B at the Ice Hockey World Championship, while Patrik Laine's star continues to rise.
Teenage winger Patrik Laine again starred as Finland maintained their perfect start to the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship with a 5-1 victory over Germany.
Having been hailed for his performance in Finland's opening win over Belarus, Laine contributed two goals and an assist for the second match in succession.
"He's playing great," said team-mate Mikael Granlund. "He plays at a high level. He needs to keep enjoying these games.
"Overall it was a pretty decent game for us. We have only played two games now and the biggest are ahead of us. That’s the bottom line in this tournament."
Finland are one of three teams in Group B to boast maximum points after two outings, with Canada and Slovakia also their claiming second wins on Sunday.
Reigning champions Canada eased to a routine 7-1 triumph over Hungary, Michael Matheson grabbing one goal and two assists, while Slovakia recovered from an early setback to beat France 5-1.
In Group A, hosts Russia were made to work hard by Kazakhstan before eventually running out 6-4 winners, Anton Belov a key figure.
Sweden came from behind in a 5-2 victory over neighbours Denmark, while Norway needed overtime to see off Switzerland 4-3 in Moscow.
Andreas Martinsen was the match-winner for Norway, who had looked set to triumph in regulation time only for Felicien du Bois to grab an equaliser with 10 seconds remaining.
Describing his subsequent winning strike, Martinsen said: "I just took a quick shot. Luckily it went in. I like a quick release but I usually aim over the glove."
