In Portmore, Jamaica a mother and son found dead in their home

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 52-year-old woman and her 33-year-old son.

The bodies of Sandria Murray and Shaon Barnes were found about 1:00pm in their home on

Breadnut Street in Portmore, St Catherine when a friend went to visit.

The police were summoned and upon their arrival, the scene was processed and the bodies removed to the morgue.

The police said there were no marks of violence.

Investigations continue.
