Usain Bolt is enjoying training with his new teammate van Niekerk

South African 400-metre runner, Wayde van Niekerk has started his training in Jamaica with Usain Bolt's coach Glen Mills at the Racers' Track Club.
That experience is new for not just the reining World Champion, but also for the reining double Olympic champion and world recorder holder over 1 and 200 metres.
Bolt has seen champion mettle in van Niekerk, saying the South African 'does have some speed.'

Van Niekerk holds the enviable record of being the first man to run sub-10 over 100 metres, sub-20 over 200, and sub-44.
Bolt, the man agreed to be the most talented athlete of his generation, and arguably, the best sprinter the world has ever seen, cannot bost of such a feat, having only run 45.28 to add to his 9.58 and 19.19 over the shorter distances.
He has some speed. I must say, he does have some speed," said Bolt.
Van Niekerk is also enjoying the experience.
“I sat so much with coach Mills in the dining rooms at the Diamond Leagues and so on and we really enjoy his company. And now to be around someone like Usain Bolt, who is an idol in the sport, and Yohan Blake and Warren Weir and all those top athletes – just being around them and learning from them, I’m just very excited to learn and pick up steps on how I can improve as an athlete,” said van Niekerk.
