INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 medium size coconut
1 tsp vanilla
1 pinch of salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 lb flour
4 oz butter
2 1/2 cup of milk or water
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
1. Cream sugar and butter
2. Grate coconut and mix into creamed sugar butter
3. Add vanilla and salt and fold in flour and liquid…and make a slightly stiff mixture
4. Drop into a greased tin and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour
(optional): you may add fruits, currant, or raisins before to the mixture before you bake.
