Game Day Sub Sandwich Recipe


  • Ingredients  
  • 4 soft submarine rolls, split
  • 1/4 cup fat-free or light Italian salad dressing
  • 2 cups torn romaine lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 6 oz. thinly sliced Genoa or hard salami
  • 8 slices Sargento® Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese
  • Pickled vegetables, pepperoncini peppers or sliced pickles (optional)
  • Directions
  • Brush inside of each roll with dressing. Layer lettuce, tomato, salami and cheese on bottom half. Top with pickled vegetables, if desired. Close sandwiches; cut into halves to serve.
