Twin blasts rocked the check-in of Brussels Airport on Tuesday, killing and wounding scores of people, while another explosion shook a metro station in the Belgian capital.
What we know:
- At least 31 people are dead: Twenty people were killed in the blast at the metro station in Maalbeek, and 11 more died in the explosions at the airport, according to Belgian authorities.
- Hundreds more are wounded: Belgian fire and rescue services report 212 people have been injured, including 30 critically wounded or burned and 96 more hurt seriously.
- Suicide bombers suspected: At least one and possibly multiple "suicide bombers" were involved in the attacks. ISIS claimed responsibility, as Brussels police issued a " wanted " notice for at least one suspect.
